Belmar condo project kicks off
From: The Denver Business Journal
A ground-breaking was held Feb. 8 for the Residences at Belmar Plaza luxury condominiums in Lakewood. The condos are part of the Belmar development, a $750 million project that opened at Wadsworth Boulevard and West Alameda Avenue. At build-out, Belmar will feature 1,300 residential units, along with shops, restaurants, offices and a public plaza and urban park.
The Residences at Belmar are adjacent to Belmar Plaza and feature one- to three-bedroom condos priced from the $200,000s to upwards of $1 million. There will be 62 units ranging in size from 950 to 2,888 square feet available in the spring of 2007.
All condominiums in the five-story building are single-level and are serviced by an elevator. Underground parking and storage are available in an access-controlled garage.
Plaza Residential Associates LLC, a segment of Continuum Partners Co., is developing the project. JE Dunn is the contractor.
Other homes available at Belmar include urban-row-style homes and three different types of loft-style condominiums with prices ranging from $180,000 to $700,000.
